Lakeland 2021-22 Budget Overwhelmingly Approved

The school district said there was going to be no increase in the tax levy.

SHRUB OAK, NY — Voters in the Lakeland school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the school district's 2012-22 budget.

The $168.3 million budget was approved. The unofficial vote tally was 1,082 for to 266 against.

The budget increase was 2.1 percent. The property tax levy was zero.

Three trustee seats were up for election. The winning candidates were incumbents Michael G. Daly and Angela Conti and Anna Massaro. Tatyana Krychkina, Marisa Ragonese, Carmella Pervizi and Vincent Xavier were also on the ballot.
