According to the park's website, there will be three different kinds of native milkweed, native and non-native perennials, annual flowers and, new this year, house plants such as laceleaf, prayer plant and lemon trees.
Everything needed for one's summer vegetable garden will be available, such as tomatoes, peppers, squash, zucchini, cucumber, broccoli and more.
New this year, the plant sale will be offering unusual species that are not likely to be found at most nurseries. For example, sassafras, franklinia and giant Sequoia will be sold in limited quantities.
