Man Has Illegal Hypodermic Needle, Heroin: PD
Police were initially sent to check on the welfare of someone in a car parked at a gas station.
YORKTOWN, NY — A northern Westchester County resident was accused of having an illegal hypodermic needle and heroin while parked at a gas station.
The Yorktown Police Department said Brian K. Bobolia, 31, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, misdemeanors.
Police said, shortly after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, the department received a call to check on the welfare of someone in a car parked by a gas pump at 3205 Crompond Road in Yorktown Heights.

The officer who responded said he found Bobolia with a hypodermic needle and eight glassine envelopes containing heroin.
He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.

Bobolia was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance and is due to appear in the Yorktown Justice Court April 8.
