Meal Distribution Continues For Lakeland Schools

Both hybrid and 100 percent remote students can take advantage of the free meals.

SHRUB OAK, NY — Students of Lakeland schools can sign up for free grab-and-go pick-up meals no matter whether they are doing remote learning or hybrid learning.

According to the Lakeland district website, 100 percent remote learning students can continue pre-ordering meals for pick up through this link.

Meal distribution will be from noon to 2:45 p.m. Mondays for two days' worth of meals and Wednesdays for the remainder of the week.

Hybrid students can pre-order meals for pickup through this link.

Distribution will be at Copper Beach Middle School. Go to the right of the building near the eighth-grade wing. Parents or guardians should have a space cleared in their trunk and wear a mask when interacting with the staff.

Copper Beach Middle School is at 3401 Old Yorktown Road in Yorktown Heights.

Here is the remote meal pick-up calendar:

  • 12/2 (Wednesday) – All Students
  • 12/7 (Monday) – 100 percent Remote ONLY
  • 12/9 (Wednesday) – All Students
  • 12/14 (Monday) – 100 percent Remote ONLY
  • 12/16 (Wednesday) – All Students
  • 12/21 (Monday) – All Students
