Mohegan Lake Woman Killed In 3-Car Crash

Yorktown police are asking anyone with any information about the crash to call them.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Mohegan Lake woman was killed in a three-car motor vehicle accident Monday.

Yorktown police said the crash happened around 6 p.m. on Crompond Road, just west of Garden Lane.

According to police, the driver of one of the cars, a 70-year-old Mohegan Lake woman, died in the crash. Her name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Another driver was taken to the Westchester Medical Center with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

The third driver refused medical attention at the scene.

An investigation of the crash is being conducted by the Town of Yorktown Police Department Accident Investigation Unit, with the assistance of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety Accident Investigation Unit.
