Mohegan Lake Woman Steals $74 Worth of Groceries

A 50-year-old Mohegan Lake woman is facing shoplifting charges in Yorktown for stealing groceries, police said. 

The woman is due in court on Jan. 28 for stealing $74.30 worth of groceries from DeCicco's store in Jefferson Valley on Dec. 28. She was arrested at about 7:11 p.m. and charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. 

The woman was released without bail.
