NY Man Accused Of Driving With Suspended Registration, License
A police officer was on patrol with a license plate reader, authorities said.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Brooklyn man was accused of driving on a sidewalk and driving without a license in Yorktown. Police said Abror Sharobiddinov, 39, of Brooklyn was charged with suspended registration and suspended license, misdemeanors, and driving on sidewalk, a traffic infraction.
Yorktown police said, around 5:30 p.m. Monday, an officer on routing patrol with a license plate reader on Route 6 found that Sharobiddinov's vehicle's registration was suspended and a traffic stop was initiated.
Further investigation, police said, revealed that his registration and driver's license were suspended for insurance lapse.

Police also said the man had been driving on a sidewalk.
Sharobiddinov was arrested and processed on the charges.

He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court Feb. 20.
