Orange County Man Accused Of Violating Parole
Police said he was taken into custody in Yorktown.
YORKTOWN, NY — An Orange County man was accused of violating parole and was arrested in Yorktown.
The Yorktown Police Department said Gilbert Anthony Perez, 27, of Port Jervis, was charged Saturday with parole violation, with the underlying charge being third-degree robbery.
Police said, just before 2 p.m. Saturday, officers were advised by the Westchester County Real Time Crime Center that a vehicle registered to someone wanted for violating parole was in the area.

Officers located the vehicle and it was stopped on Route 202.
During the investigation, police said they determined Perez was wanted for an active parole violation.

He was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department.
After processing, Perez was remanded to the custody of the Westchester County Department of Corrections.
