Patricia Ann McIlvenny Dies At 79

McIlvenny was employed by the New York Telephone Company, Somers Manor Nursing Home and Yorktown BOCES.

YORKTOWN, NY — Patricia Ann McIlvenny passed away Feb. 22, 2019, surrounded by her family. Patricia was born March 17, 1939, in Manhattan. She was a graduate of The Academy of the Scared Heart of Mary.

She was employed by the New York Telephone Company, Somers Manor Nursing Home and Yorktown BOCES.

Patricia met the love of her, Charles T. McIlvenny in Inwood. They were married Nov. 22, 1958. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.

She was an active member of The Knights of Columbus as a Columbiette, the Irish American Social Club, St. Patrick’s Senior Citizens Club and the Jefferson Valley Bowling League. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Yorktown Heights.

She is survived by her five daughters, Anne Biordi, and her husband James, Karen Schlick, and her husband John, Patricia Moore, and her husband Donald, Jean Cesario, and her husband Michael, and Charleen Koval. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Cathryn, Allyson, Amanda, Michael, Sean, Kiera, Liam, as well as many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Calling hours are from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at New St. Patrick’s Church, also in Yorktown Heights. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Patrick’s Church Good Samaritan Fund, stpatricks-yorktown.org.
