Peekskill Teen Charged With Juvenile Delinquency
Police said the 15-year-old threw a chair at a car during a fight.
YORKTOWN, NY — A 15-year-old Peekskill boy was accused of taking part in a fight and damaging a car.
The Yorktown Police Department said the teenager, whose name was withheld, was charged with juvenile delinquency.
Authorities said the underlying charge if it had been committed by an adult would be fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

According to police, shortly before noon March 23, an officer responded to an address on Downing Drive for a report of a fight in progress.
The investigation found the teenager threw a chair at a car causing damage.

Police said the teen left the scene prior to police getting there but was later identified.
On Thursday, the teen and a parent responded to the Yorktown Police Headquarters.
He was processed and issued a juvenile appearance ticket and is due to appear at the Westchester County Department of Probation May 20.
