Pop-Up Beer Garden Debuts At Jefferson Valley Mall

YORKTOWN, NY — Beginning Friday, a weekly pop-up beer garden will debut at the Jefferson Valley Mall.

Peekskill Brewery Pizza and Beer, owned by Peekskill Brewery, will have the pop-up beer garden from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Friday beginning June 4.

The beer garden event, called Tunes & Brews, will be in a tent outside PB Pizza & Beer in the Route 6-facing parking lot of the mall.

There will be live music, food trucks, craft beer and games. Organizers said there will be fun for the whole family.

When mall officials brought the idea to the Yorktown town board, they said they were committed to making certain Jefferson Valley continues to be dynamic in its offerings.

Supervisor Matt Slater said the town was recovering from the pandemic and the brewery's expansion was another example of private businesses investing in the community.

"This expansion will bring new customers to the mall," he said, "which is one of our vital economic engines."
