Putnam Valley Woman, 50, Steals $136 Worth of Clothing

A 50-year-old Putnam Valley woman is due in Yorktown Town Court later this month to answer charges that she stole $136 worth of clothing from Sears, police said. 

The woman was arrested on Oct. 24 following a Sept. 18 incident. Police said the woman took clothing, valued at $136, and exited the store without paying for the items. She was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. 

She was processed at police headquarters and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Nov. 26.
