Queens Man Accused Of Driving Without License
Police said he was also in possession of a forged New York State inspection sticker.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Queens man was accused of driving without a license and other misdemeanors after police responded to a disable vehicle in Yorktown. Police said Carlton Campbell Jr., 27, of Long Island City, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating vehicle while registration suspended and third-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, misdemeanors.
He was also charged with four traffic violations, including improper plates and uninsured vehicle.
Police said, shortly before 7 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a disabled car on Baldwin Road.

Campbell was the vehicle's operator. The investigation found he was operating the car while his license and registration were suspended and was in possession of a forged New York State inspection sticker, police said.
The car was also unregistered, not inspected and uninsured, as well as having an improper license plate.

Campbell was arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
He was issued an appearance ticket and traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance.
Campbell is due to appear in Yorktown Justice Court July 2.
