Robert E. Piersall, Of Yorktown Heights, Dies At 85

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, NY — Robert E. Piersall, a long-time resident of Yorktown Heights, passed away on July 30, 2018. He was 85.

Piersall graduated from Saunders Trade School in Yonkers, then later served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1955. He was an electrician with IBEW, Local 3.

Piersall is survived by his daughter, Donnamarie (Chris) Aiello, his son, Robert H. Piersall, as well as his sister Claire Semmeles. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan T. Piersall, his parents, Charles and Rose Piersall, his brother Thomas Piersall and his sisters Helen Beale and Joan Weber.

Calling hours are from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 1 at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 at New St. Patrick’s Church, also in Yorktown Heights.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
