Snow Possible For Hudson Valley Super Bowl Weekend

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Forecasters are closely watching a storm system that is expected to hit the Hudson Valley Super Bowl weekend.

"A widespread precipitation event is becoming likely this weekend," the National Weather Service says. "Precipitation amounts remain uncertain at this time therefore it is still too early to determine what impacts may occur."

At the moment, the weather service says there's a 30 percent chance of rain and/or snow on Saturday depending on where you live in the Hudson Valley.

The weather service said various forecasts "have been bouncing around with the intensity and track of a coastal low that develops off the eastern seaboard Friday night into Saturday.

"Bottom line, it is much too early to be specific with any details at this time," the weather service said.
