Snow, Rain, Cold Temps In Forecast For Hudson Valley
The weather pattern is more fitting of early March in the Northeast than May, according to meteorologists.
HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Snow? Say it ain't so. Even though the calendar says May, there is a cold air mass affecting the Hudson Valley that will still be in place ahead of arctic air and a developing storm that could mean measurable snow in parts of the region.
Alex Mara and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather said the storm had been on their radar, so to speak, for a few days, and finally decided that it was real possibility.
"It's all going to come down to the little details, that models will struggle with," they said. "The general story will likely be … rain … mixing with snow after dark, changing to all snow before midnight … and tapering off after midnight."
