Somers 2020-21 School Budget Resoundingly Approved
There were five candidates vying for two school board positions.

SOMERS, NY — Voters in the Somers school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the school district's 2012-22 budget.
The $97.5 million budget was approved. The unofficial vote tally was 1,266 for to 357 against, according to the Journal News.
The budget increase was 2.98 percent. The property tax levy was 1.94 percent.

The proposition for an energy contract was approved.
Two trustee seats were up for election. The winning candidates were incumbent Heidi Cambareri and Nicholas Mancini. Paul Padovani, Gilbert Lopez and Rodric Michel Rabbah were also on the ballot.
