How did you come up with the name?

It was already established by my associates Maxine and Candace. When I joined it worked out great I was the new “M” in the company!

Why start a business in this town?

I realized there was a need and an opportunity to inform customers about all the changes under the new Affordable Care Act laws. These are uncertain times for many business owners. The health insurance landscape is constantly changing and owners really need someone to help guide them.

What business are you in?

We provide guidance on health insurance, group benefits and HR management systems. We focus on both groups and individuals

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

All the changes the government keeps instituting makes us constantly have to re-invent and re-educate our selves. It is a daunting task making sure all our customers understand the compliance responsibilities they must adhere to.

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening?

I spoke with a young woman from NYC and she was so excited to finally have her own health insurance policy for the first time in her life.

How does your business give back to the community?

We are involved with Various Charities, including The American Heart Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and The Wounded Warriors Project
