Free Movie at Somers Library

The Somers Library will be showing Despicable Me 2 on Monday, Dec. 30 at 6:30 p.m. Free popcorn and hot chocolate will be provided  thanks to the Friends of the Library. (This is a family event, not a drop off) Please register in advance.

Special Town Board Meeting

Yorktown town board members will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 31 at 12:30 p.m. at Town Hall, located at 363 Underhill Avenue. They will address certain matters that have to be taken up by year’s end including but not limited to insurance coverage.

Christmas Trees Collection

Christmas Trees in the town of Yorktown will be picked up Dec. 30 through Jan. 17. Once at curbside, remove the tree from a plastic bag; remove all ornaments and metal. If you have any questions, call (914) 245-4438.

New Year's Eve with The Don

Ring in the New Year at Don Tommaso's annual bash in Yorktown. The cost is $79 per person. It includes 3-course dinner, open bar, DJ and dancing till 2 a.m. Champagne toast will be served at midnight.

Somers Town Board Meeting

Somers town board members, including the town's new Supervisor – Rick Morrissey – will meet on Thursday, Jan. 2 for a town board work session at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
