'Specialty Grocer' Going In At Yorktown Shopping Center
What grocery or supermarket would you like to see go in next to Lowe's in Yorktown?
YORKTOWN, NY — A new building is planned in Yorktown in the shopping center anchored by the Lowe's home improvement store. The question is, what will be going into the space?
The town's planner, Robyn Steinberg, told the Journal News that the developer said it was going to be an as-yet-unspecified specialty grocer.
Lowe's opened its second Westchester store in April 2019 at 3200 Crompond Road, which is off the Taconic Parkway in Yorktown.

In October 2019, Yorktown Heights saw a new supermarket open its doors, taking the place of Turco's. Uncle Guiseppe's, the Long Island-based market, moved in at 380 Downing Drive.
