Students Can Earn Community Service Hours from Grange Fair
Plus: Still Time for Youngsters to Enter Contests for Lego Designs, Photography & More

The Yorktown Grange Fair is offering high school students ages 14 and up the opportunity to earn community service hours in the next two weeks.
There are two ways students can perform community service for the Yorktown Grange Fair…
- Participate in set-up activities on Saturday, Sept. 1
- Help keep the Fair litter-free during its operating dates of Sept. 7, 8 and 9

Youngsters also are invited to submit their Lego designs or photographs to the Yorktown Grange Fair competitions for those categories. More entries also are encouraged in the baking contest. Entry information is in the contest booklet online at yorktowngrangefair.org.
The Yorktown Grange Fair is independently owned and operated by Yorktown Grange #862, a member of the National Grange. The Yorktown Grange was formed in December 1898. The first Yorktown Grange Fair was held in October 1920. The Yorktown Grange and Grange Fair do not operate under the Town of Yorktown, its departments or its agencies.
