Local Business Professionals Donate Toys at Holiday Morning Mixer in Somers

(Somers/Westchester, NY) - On Wednesday, December 19, over 50 business professionals and entrepreneurs met at Anytime Fitness in Somers, NY for a Master Networks Morning Mixer. The Somers Chapter of Master Networks organized the mixer to welcome other chapter members and guests from Westchester, Putnam and Fairfield Counties. Holly Smith, General Manager of Anytime Fitness, hosted the event with food provided by Route 100 Market Somers.

Master Networks NY/CT regional partner Tina Campbell welcomed attendees and encouraged members to continue to support each other in the New Year. Current Somers Master Networks’ president Michael O'Donovan of Edward Jones passed the baton to incoming president, Jesse Manginelli of Fairway Mortgage.

Attendees donated toys to Love Holds Life, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization helping children in the New York Metro and Hudson Valley region battling cancer by providing financial support. Love Holds Life Founder and CEO, Richard Senato came to collect the toys with Zoey, their 2018 Holiday Honoree. Zoey is a 10 year old fighting a rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is in her muscles.

Love Holds Life has been collecting toys for 5 years for under privileged and middle class kids. They achieve this with the help of over 100 businesses who join forces to collect toys. To find out more, visit loveholdslife.org.
