Wind Advisories Issued For Hudson Valley Sunday
There could be wind gusts up to 50 mph in the region.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Hang onto your hats Sunday, Hudson Valley.
The National Weather Service issued wind advisories for the region.
For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties, the advisory is in effect from noon to midnight Sunday.

Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph are expected along with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
For Columbia, Ulster and Dutchess counties, the advisory is also in effect from noon to midnight Sunday.

However, northwest winds 15 to 25 mph along with gusts of 50 mph are expected.
The weather service said gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects and tree limbs could be blown down causing a few power outages.
