Winter Weather Advisories Issued For Much Of Hudson Valley
Possibly hazardous weather is expected Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Another snowstorm is headed toward the Hudson Valley, and as a result, the National Weather Service has issued winter weather advisories.
For Dutchess and Ulster counties, the advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Three to 5 inches of snow is expected.
For Orange, Putnam, Rockland and northern Westchester counties, the advisory is in effect from 4 a.m. Tuesday to 1 a.m. Wednesday. Two to 4 inches of snow is expected.

Motorists can plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commutes.
Southern Westchester wasn't spared, because the weather service issued a hazardous weather outlook that said accumulating snow is expected for Tuesday morning through the evening.

Instances of freezing rain cannot be ruled out for the late morning hours if the rain/snow transition occurs earlier than expected.
