Yonkers Man Accused Of Driving With Suspended License
Police said they pulled him over initially for speeding.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yonkers man was accused of driving with a suspended license.
Yorktown police said Hameen Pierson, 25, of Yonkers, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and speed in zone, a traffic infraction.
Police said, around 9:20 a.m. Nov. 6, an officer on patrol saw a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit on Lexington Avenue.

After being pulled over, the driver was identified as Pierson.
A check of state motor vehicle records found he was driving with a suspended license.

Pierson was arrested and processed on the two charges.
He was issued uniform traffic tickets and released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Nov. 24.
