How did you come up with the name?
We train dogs in the owner’s home and “Ghost Busters” was a popular movie at the time.

Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?
Live in Yorktown and it’s convenient for serving both Westchester and Putnam County residents.

Briefly, what business are you in?
Train the family dog.

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
The start up period - first year. No one knew the brand and marketing was critical.

Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?
None.
I went from corporate life to businessman and I loved every minute.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
Receiving numerouse client testimonials and being interviewed by CBS, Cablevision News and several newspapers.

What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?
Sending out monthly newsletter with tips to clients.

How do you deal with difficult customers?
I offer a lifetime guarantee which gives customers peace-of-mind - knowing I’ll come back at no charge to help with new or ongoing issues.

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
Charitable contributions to school, dog shelter and health related causes.
