How did you come up with the name?
The center has beautiful Crystal lighting and we wanted it to be know as a central gathering place for Somers and surrounding area residents to rent for events at a reasonable price.

Why choose that location? Why start a business in this town?
the building was abandoned by the UOA of Shenorock, it was falling apart. We live in the community and wanted to do something to help property value and also offer a beautiful center for all types of events

Briefly, what business are you in?
our family ows a wholesale hair extension company

What’s the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?
Letting people know that we are here. We don’t have much money to advertise. We held a breakfast with Santa and had a very low turn out. We would like to have a kids halloween party and would love to make sure we get a good turn out as it is a huge effort to put something like that together

Were there any challenges that made you second guess your decision to be an entrepreneur?
the town is giving us a hard time about street directional signs even though the temple has their signs out.

What’s been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?
It so nice to hear how thankful people are after they have hosted parties at our locaton. Many didnt know that we were there and are so happy that they found us.

What’s the most innovative idea your employees or customers have had that you put into practice?
the design of our place is really stunning.

How do you deal with difficult customers?
Customer is always right and a referral is the best method of advertising. You do whatever you can to make the customer happy.

How does your business give back or get involved in the community?
we offer discounted rates for Non-profit organizations. We host halloween parties and Breakfast with Santa and a free community day.
