Yorktown Cops Accuse Upstate Man Of Intent To Sell Drugs

They had received a 911 call about an erratic driver.

YORKTOWN, NY — A man from Port Ewen, New York is accused of carrying cocaine in Yorktown with intent to sell it, police said.

The Yorktown Police Department received a 911 call about an erratic driver who appeared to have recently been in a collision and was currently parked at the gas station on Lee Boulevard.

They found Frederick Humphrey just after midnight Friday. They allege he had more than four ounces of cocaine.

The 34-year-old was charged with two felonies: 2nd criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

Following his arraignment, Humphrey was sent to the Westchester County jail until a scheduled court appearance Tuesday.
