Yorktown Jewish Center To Close
Center officials cited a decline in membership and lack of financial resources as reasons.

YORKTOWN, NY — The Yorktown Jewish Center, which has been open for almost 70 years, will be closing.
The center will be shuttered at the end of June, a co-president told News 12.
One reason is a decline in membership.

The nonprofit religious institution has been located at 2966 Crompond Rd. since it opened 68 years ago.
Factoring into the decision to close is also a lack of financial resources and the retiring of the current and longtime rabbi Seth Sternstein, TapInto Yorktown reported.

The 17,000-plus-square-foot building and property is listed by Coldwell Banker for $2.95 million.
