Yorktown Lions Sponsor “Mulligans and Margaritas Golf Outing”

The Yorktown Lions will be sponsoring its annual golf outing on Monday, June 7th at the Somers National Golf Club. Please sign up to be a player and/or a sponsor.

The day’s events will start with registration at 10:00 AM, followed by lunch at 11:00. The actual golfing portion begins with a shotgun start at 12:30. Dinner will follow after golf.

The cost is $200 per golfer, which includes giveaways, green fees and cart, lunch, cocktails and dinner, plus awards’ shots and scores. The golf outing is limited to 120 golfers so sign up today!

The Yorktown Lions distributed over 500 bags of candy and plastic eggs during the “Easter Car Parade” at the JV Mall on Saturday, March 20.

On Saturday, March 27, the Yorktown Lions and the Town of Yorktown sponsored the traditional egg hunt at Downing Park. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the number of children allowed to participate was reduced, but everyone still enjoyed themselves.

The Yorktown Lions are sponsoring a generator raffle to raise funds for its annual scholarship program for Lakeland and Yorktown High School senior students. Tickets are $20 for one and $100 for six tickets. Go to www.yorktownlionsclub.com to purchase tickets.
