Yorktown Man Missing Since Wednesday Found Dead
He was a teacher in the Yonkers public schools.

YORKTOWN, NY — The Yonkers teacher from Yorktown who has been missing since Wednesday was found dead near the Kensico Reservoir over the weekend. The body of Jorge Crespo, 56, was found on Department of Environmental Protection property near the reservoir.
No other information was available from authorities, the Journal News said.
His car and cellphone had been found near Rye Lake in Harrison.

A wake will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at Community Home for Funerals, 601 Yonkers Ave. in Yonkers.
Crespo will be buried at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at Mount Hope Cemetery, 50 Jackson Ave. in Hastings-on-Hudson.

According to his obituary, Crespo was born in Yonkers, graduated from Yonkers High School and went on to graduate from Parsons School of Design.
He received a master of arts degree from Lehman College and started teaching in the Bronx as a Spanish/art teacher. He was teaching at Yonkers Middle High School most recently.
Crespo is survived by his daughter Mercy Christine Crespo, granddaughter Brianna Christine Vargas, his mother Maria Antonia Nuñez and father Jorge Crespo, fiancė Jacqueline Garcia, four brothers, three sisters and nieces and nephews.
