Yorktown Police report the arrest of a 15 year old Yorktown, NY resident, who charged with 6 counts of Juvenile Delinquency and a 14 year old Yorktown, NY resident, who is charged with 3 counts of Juvenile Delinquency, the underlying charge for both juveniles being Making Graffiti, a Class "A" Misdemeanor. On May 12, 2021, several officers were dispatched to several different reports of graffiti throughout the Yorktown Heights Business District. PO. Noone, with the assistance other Yorktown police officers, actively investigated these incidents. As a result of the on-going investigation by members of the department, information was developed and identified two possible suspects. PO. Noone continued the investigation and subsequently arrested the two juvenile defendants. They were both charged with Juvenile Delinquency, the underlying charge being Making Graffiti. The Juveniles were contacted and responded Police Headquarters with their parents. Both Juveniles were issued appearance tickets and released on their own recognizance to a parent. They are both due to appear at the Westchester County Department of Probation on July 8, 2021 at 9:00 am.
