Yorktown Schools 2021-22 Budget Approved
A separate proposition for air conditioning also was OK'd.

YORKTOWN, NY — Voters in the Yorktown school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to approve the school district's budget.
The $101.9 million budget was approved. The unofficial vote tally was 594 for to 188 against.
The budget increase was 2.21 percent. The property tax levy was 1.2 percent.

There is also a proposition for $4 million to pay for air conditioning in large spaces in all buildings. It passed 664 to 130.
Two trustee seats were up for election. The winning candidates were incumbents Jackie Carbone and Peter Bisaccia. Richard Giannasca came in third.
