What business are you in? Design and installation of landscape lighting-lawn sprinklers-holiday lighting and decor. We now also have a dedicated mosquito and tick spray division.

How did you come up with the name? We wanted something simple as landscape lighting was not a well known speciality years ago.

Why start a business in this town? I actually started the business in Yonkers in 2005 before moving to Yorktown in 2007. Yorktown and the surrounding areas have been a great place to work and do business. We have met many great clients and other contractors.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner? Finding the right advertising, finding good employees.

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening? We recently lit all the trees at the Downtown Yonkers Waterfront. For four years we installed event lighting at a large multi-day music festival in NYC on Labor Day Weekend. Probably the pink tree we decorate at Pure Salon in Yorktown has been our biggest attraction every Christmas season as well as the Christmas tree we light at Northern Westchester Hospital.

How does your business give back to the community? We have donated to silent auctions for charity.
