Yorktown Teens Hosts Underage Drinking Party

A 16-year-old Yorktown teen is facing a criminal charge for hosting an underage drinking party at a Baptist Church Road home, police said. 

The arrest stems from a Nov. 8 incident when police received an anonymous call about a possible possible underage drinking party. Officers Samuel Sansone and Timothy Kolkmann responded to the scene and conducted an investigation which revealed the girl had allowed numerous people under 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages inside the home, police said. 

The teen was arrested at the scene and transported to police headquarters. was charged with second-degree criminal nuisance, a misdemeanor.  

The girl was released to a family member and scheduled to appear in Yorktown Town Court on Dec. 10.
