2 Arrests In Davidson: Crimes Reported In Town This Week
Davidson police nabbed 15 drivers for expired tags this week. Here's a run down of this week's police blotter.
DAVIDSON, NC — Nine crimes were reported to police in Davidson this past week, including one vehicle break-in and a care of financial identity fraud, according to Davidson Police Department.
Police made two arrests in Davidson this past week:
- Rex Leroy Locke, 41, was arrested April 16 on Lecheval Lane, charged with possession of methamphetamine/ drug paraphernalia
- Terrence Eugene Hill, 37, was arrested April 18 on Griffith Street, charged with DWI/ DWLR/ narcotics and weapons charges

- April 13 — Breaking and entering auto/ larceny from auto, Harbour Place Drive
- April 13 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Davidson Gateway Drive
- April 14 — Damage to personal property, Northeast Drive
- April 14 — Financial identity fraud, Swanhaven Court
- April 16 — Possession of methamphetamine/ drug paraphernalia, Shearer Road
- April 16 — False pretense, Avinger Lane
- April 18 — DWI, narcotics & weapons offenses, Griffith Street
- April 18 — Habitual larceny/ damage to property, Peninsula Drive
- April 18 — Larceny (felony), Jetton Street
DPD officers issued citations including the following charges April 13 through April 19, 2021:
- Expired tag — 15
- Speeding — 10
- Expired inspection — 6
- Stop sign violation — 2
- Improper passing — 1
- Display fictitious tag — 1
- Driving while license revoked — 1
- Revoked tag — 1
- No insurance — 1
- Improper equipment (modified muffler) — 1
- Possession of drug paraphernalia — 1
