3 Auto Break-Ins Reported In Davidson: Police Report

DAVIDSON, NC — Three vehicles were broken into and items stolen from them this past week in the Harbour Place neighborhood in Davidson, according to police.

Officers in Davidson also issued two dozen citations this past week. Nine of the 13 speeding tickets in Davidson this past week were issued on Griffith Street, according to the most recent Davidson Police Department blotter.

DPD made two arrests last week:

• Victor Norwood Springs, 63, was arrested March 18 on North Main Street, charged with Habitual larceny
• Art Sanders, 35, was arrested March 22 on Jetton Street, charged with violation of a domestic violence order

• March 16 — False pretense, Catawba Avenue
• March 16 — False pretense, Blackwelder Drive
• March 17 — Breaking & entering auto/ larceny from auto, Harbour Place Drive
• March 17 — Breaking & entering auto/ larceny from auto, Harbour Place Drive
• March 17 — Breaking & entering auto/ larceny from auto, Harbour Place Drive
• March 18 — Larceny (felony), South Main Street
• March 21 — Damage to property, Concord Road
• March 22 — Simple assault, Davidson-Concord Road
• March 22 — Domestic disturbance, Jetton Street

DPD officers issued citations including the following charges between March 16 - March 22, 2021:

• Speeding — 13
• Expired tag — 5
• Expired inspection — 3
• No operator's license — 1
• Driving while license revoked — 1
