3 Break-Ins, Check Forgery: Crime Reported In Davidson
DPD made two arrests this week and issued 19 speeding tickets. Here's a rundown of crimes and citations reported in Davidson.
DAVIDSON, NC — A vehicle break-in, along with two incidents of breaking and entering and larceny were reported in Davidson neighborhoods this past week, according to the most recent police blotter.
Davidson Police made two arrests last week:
- Michael Edward Turner, 45, was arrested Jan. 21 on Shearer Road, charged with DWI
- Jordan Tyler Melton, 23, was arrested Jan. 25 on Interstate 77, charged with a warrant for arrest issued in Mecklenburg County
Here are the crimes reported to DPD between Jan. 19 through Jan. 25, 2021:

- Jan. 20 — Breaking and entering/ larceny (misdemeanor), Davidson Gateway Drive
- Jan. 22 — Breaking and entering auto/ larceny from auto, Helen Benson Boulevard
- Jan. 22 — Uttering forged check, Ingersoll-Rand Road
- Jan. 24 — Breaking and entering/ larceny (felony), Old Meeting Way
