Davidson police issued more than a dozen tickets to drivers for expired tags. Here's a run down of crimes and citations reported in town.
DAVIDSON, NC — Police in Davidson cited nearly three dozen drivers this week for infractions such as expired tags, speeding and for not wearing a seatbelt, according to the most recent police blotter.
Police made no arrests in Davidson last week.

- May 5 — Assault on a female, Potts Street
- May 7 — Larceny (felony), Damage to personal property, Jetton Street
- May 8 — False pretense, Jetton Street
DPD officers issued citations including the following charges May 4 through May 10, 2021:
- Expired tag — 14
- Speeding — 6
- Seatbelt violation — 5
- Expired inspection — 4
- No operators license — 2
- Failure to reduce speed to avoid collision — 1
- DWLR/ Use Foreign License while DWLR — 1
