Davidson's Summer Concert Series Kicks Off Saturday: Details

DAVIDSON, NC — This weekend, free outdoor concerts are officially back in Davidson for the summer.

Two new concert series — Concerts @ The Circles and Second Saturdays @ the Square — will kick off in early June, while the town's annual "Concerts on the Green" concert series is set to resume July 4 on the Davidson Village Green.

On Saturday, June 5, rhythm and blues variety band, Carolina Soul Band, will perform on Jetton Street near Clean Juice from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Concerts on the Green performances are held on the village green in downtown Davidson on select Sunday evenings.

• Sunday, July 18 — The Legacy Motown Revue, Motown
• Sunday, Aug. 1 — Smitty & The Jumpstarters, Swinging blues
• Sunday, Aug. 15 — Band of Oz, Beach/variety
• Sunday, Sept. 5 — Gospelfest, gospel
• Sunday, Sept. 19 — The Davidson College Symphony & Jazz Ensemble, Classical/jazz
• Sunday, Oct. 3 — Dave Matthews Tribute Band
• Sunday, Oct. 17 — Kids in America, 80s tribute

Concerts @ the Circles performances are held on Jetton street by Clean Juice.

Second Saturdays @ the Square performances are held at the South Main Square on the deck of the Crazy Pig, located at 402 S. Main Street in Davidson.
