Dog Attack, Break-In, Larceny: Crimes Reported In Davidson

Davidson police issued citations to more than a dozen drivers this week. Here's a run down of this week's police blotter.

DAVIDSON, NC — Five crimes, including a dog attack in the St. Albans neighborhood and a break-in on Jetton Street, were reported to police in Davidson this past week, according to Davidson Police Department.

Police made one arrest in Davidson last week. Veda Lynn Mills, 36, was arrested April 20 on Potts Street, charged with an order for arrest from Iredell County

  • April 20 — Dog attack, O'Henry Avenue
  • April 20 — False pretense, Robert Walker Drive
  • April 23 — Breaking & entering/ felony larceny, Jetton Street
  • April 23 — False pretense, Robert Walker Drive
  • April 24 — Simple assault, Beaty Street

DPD officers issued citations including the following charges April 20 through April 26, 2021:

  • Speeding — 7
  • Expired tag — 3
  • Expired inspection — 3
  • Failure to register vehicle with DMV — 1
  • Seatbelt violation — 1
  • Reckless driving — 1
