Drug Possession, Larceny: Where Crimes Were Reported In Davidson

Davidson police nabbed dozens of drivers for citations this week. Here's a run down of the charges.

DAVIDSON, NC — Two cases of drug possession and a larceny on Watson Street were reported this week in Davidson, according to the most recent police blotter.

Police made one arrest in Davidson last week. Victor Springs, 64, was arrested April 28 on South Main Street, charged with an existing warrant for an arrest for habitual larceny.

Here are the crimes reported to DPD April 27 through May 3, 2021:

  • April 28 — Damage to personal property, Potts Street
  • May 1 — possession of marijuana/ possession of drug paraphernalia, Davidson-Concord Road
  • May 2 — Possession cocaine/ possession of drug paraphernalia, I-77 North
  • May 3 — Larceny (felony)/ Damage to property, Watson Street

DPD officers issued citations including the following charges April 27 through May 3, 2021:

  • Expired tag — 15
  • Expired inspection — 9
  • Speeding — 7
  • Stop sign violation — 4
  • Failure to register vehicle with DMV — 1
  • Seatbelt violation — 1
  • No operators license — 1
  • Revoked tag — 1
  • No insurance — 2
  • Improper turn — 1
  • Illegal dumping — 1
  • Fictitious tag — 1
  • Possession of marijuana — 1
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia — 1
