Earth Fare To Open Store In Davidson: Here's When
The new grocery store headed to Davidson only stocks food free of hormones, artificial sweeteners, additives and preservatives.
DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson and Lake Norman residents will soon have a new grocery store offering organic and locally sourced food options. Earth Fare is set to open its doors at 261 Griffith Street in early summer.
"Our mission is to improve lives by making healthy eating accessible to everyone," Earth Fare spokesperson Laurie Aker told Patch.
The new business opening is an exciting development for the town, Davidson Mayor Rusty Knox said.

"The void that will be filled by having them here will check a lot of boxes for those seeking more specialized products, neighbors seeking a local, walkable grocer and students at Davidson College," Knox told Patch. "We welcome Earth Fare to Davidson and hope they are as happy to be here as we are having them here."
The new 18,000-square-foot store will be located in the remodeled space that was once the Healthy Home Market, which closed its doors in 2017. The store will feature all grocery departments, and will also have a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.
