Embezzlement, Larceny, Break-ins: Crimes Reported In Davidson
A 20-year-old woman was charged with embezzlement this week in Davidson. Here's a run down of crime around town, according to police.
DAVIDSON, NC — Two larcenies and two break-ins were reported this week in Davidson, according to the most recent police blotter.
Davidson Police Department made one arrest last week. Nala Faith Philpot, 20, was arrested June 21 on Peninsula Drive, charged with embezzlement.
Davidson police nabbed more than a dozen drivers for charges that included speeding, expired tags, and expired inspections. One driver was charged with having an improper muffler.

- June 15 — Stolen auto recovery, Jetton Street
- June 17 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Davidson-Concord Road
- June 17 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Concord Road
- June 17 — Public accident, South Main Street
- June 18 — Breaking and entering (misdemeanor), Potts Street
- June 21 — Breaking and entering (misdemeanor), Sloan Street
- June 21 — Embezzlement, Griffith Street
