DAVIDSON
What: 4th of July in Davidson — Annual patriotic stroll along South Street and a Concert on the Green. Says the town, "All residents are encouraged to dress in Independence Day attire and to decorate their wagons, bicycles, tricycles, and pets in red, white, and blue. A color guard comprised of members of the police and fire departments will lead the parade up South Street onto Main Street and onto the town green."

MOORESVILLE
What: July 3rd Summer Celebration and Field of Flags — This annual event returns this year with live music, more than 600 American flags, food trucks and fireworks.
Where: Lowe's YMCA, 170 Joe Knox Avenue, Mooresville
When: Saturday, July 3, 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.

HUNTERSVILLE
What: 4th of July at Birkdale Village — Say organizers, "Have the kiddos bring their bikes and decorate with us before the bike parade around Birkdale Commons Parkway. Following the bike parade, will be an block party in the Grove with magicians, special performers, face painters and more!"

CHARLOTTE
What: Charlotte Symphony's Celebrate America Concert and fireworks — The orchestra will present a lineup of patriotic favorites, followed by a spectacular fireworks finale.

When: Friday, June 25, 8:30 p.m.

What: 4th of July Celebration at the Whitewater Center — Celebrations will stretch for two days this year at the Whitewater Center, which has a weekend filled with live music, yoga and fireworks displays.

What: WBT SkyShow: Fireworks after Charlotte Knights Game — The annual fireworks display returns this year following the Charlotte Knights Baseball Game. Tickets for the game may be purchased here.

What: Celebrate America Fireworks Show at Carowinds — Says Carowinds,"Our fireworks show is the one time when almost everyone in the park stops what they’re doing – riding our thrilling rides or playing fun games – and together we allow ourselves to be mesmerized by vivid bursts of color lighting up the night sky."
