Larceny, Assault, DWI: Crimes Reported This Week In Davidson

DAVIDSON, NC —Two thefts, a simple assault and a DWI were reported in Davidson this past week, according to the most recent police blotter.

Davidson Police made two arrests last week:

• Joseph Michael Savona, 29, was arrested Dec. 31 on Beaty Street, charged with an arrest warrant from Iredell County
• Kacey Leigh Houlihan, 19, was arrested Jan. 1 on Davidson Concord Road, charged with DWI

Here are the crimes reported to DPD between Dec. 29, 2020 through Jan. 4, 2021:

• Dec. 29 — Larceny (felony), Conroy Avenue
• Dec. 29 — Larceny (misdemeanor), Jetton Street
• Dec. 31 — Simple assault, Bridlepath Trail
• Jan. 1 — DWI, Davidson-Concord Road

DPD officers issued the following citations between Dec. 29, 2020 through Jan. 4, 2021:

• DWI — 1
• Expired tag — 3
• Expired inspection — 2
• Failure to register trailer with DMV — 1
• No operator's license — 2
• Speeding — 5
• Stop sign violation — 1
