Long-Awaited Opening of Davidson Butcher Shop Set For Saturday

DAVIDSON, NC -- Carolina Craft Butchery is opening for business Saturday, May 13. The new business is located on the ground floor of The Linden Apartments on Jetton Street, and will have a ribbon cutting and soft opening at 9 a.m.

Owners of Carolina Craft Butchery have supplied numerous Charlotte-area restaurants for years through their Wild Turkey Farms operation in China Grove, N.C., which has also been a regular presence at the Davidson Farmers Market.

Their new flagship store will feature 100 percent grass-fed beef, pasture raised pork and poultry and free-range eggs, in addition to locally sourced products. While the storefront is still in the inspection process for its in-house custom meat cutting operation, it will have fresh and frozen meats for sale Saturday, according to the shop’s Facebook page.
