Police Target Speeders, Expired Tags: This Week's Crime Report
A car was broken into Saturday on Peninsula Drive, according to Davidson Police Department. Here's the latest rundown of crime around town.
DAVIDSON, NC — Davidson police nabbed more than two dozen drivers this week on charges of speeding and expired tags, according to the most recent DPD blotter.
Police also received numerous crime reports, including the theft from a vehicle on Peninsula Drive reported Saturday.

- Donald Wilford Gilbert, 24, was arrested March 6 on Griffith Street, charged with felony narcotics possession/DWI.
- William Edgar Lebeau, 48, was arrested March 6 on Claires Creek Lane, charged with assault with a deadly weapon/ assault on a female.

- March 3 — Aggravated assault, Crane Street
- March 4 — Financial identity fraud, Davidson-Concord Road
- March 4 — Damage to personal property, Interstate 77 at Griffith Street
- March 5 — Financial identity fraud, Dembridge Drive
- March 6 — Breaking and entering automobile/ Larceny from auto, Peninsula Drive
- March 6 — Felony narcotics violations/ DWI, Griffith Street
- March 6 — Assault with a deadly weapon/ assault on a female, Claires Creek Lane
