Davidson police issued nearly two dozen tickets for one specific charge. Here's a run down of crimes and citations reported in town.

DAVIDSON, NC — One person was arrested in Davidson last week, while police took reports of three crimes around town, including a vehicle break-in, according to the most recent police blotter.

Police also issued nearly two dozen tickets for expired license tags.

Davidson Police Department made one arrest last week. Zanthia Jakaravoniel Deans, 27, was arrested May 24 on Interstate 77, charged with three warrants for arrest from Gaston County.

Here are the crimes reported to DPD May 18 through May 24, 2021:

  • May 22 — Domestic disturbance (non-criminal), Stanley-McElrath Road
  • May 24 — Breaking and entering auto/ larceny (felony), Pleasant Garden Drive
  • May 24 — Simple assault, River Falls Drive
