Snow For Lake Norman This Week? Week Ahead Forecast

DAVIDSON, NC — Today may be April Fool’s Day, but the weather report for the week ahead is no joke, according to the National Weather Service. The greater Charlotte metro could see snow Tuesday, forecasters say.

Don’t break out the sleds and shovels just yet. While much of the greater Charlotte metro area could see a dusting of snow April 2, it’s not expected to stick around long.

Tuesday’s high is expected to reach 51, however, frost is expected overnight. The cold snap is expected to move out quickly. Wednesday’s high will reach nearly 70 degrees, NWS said. Temperatures will remain springlike for the remainder of the week, which could wrap up with showers.
